Shockingly, very few of my students watched the video; therefore, I had spend the first ten minutes of class uploading the video and showing it for those students who did not watch it. As a result, they had less in class time to work on their paragraphs. I thought because they are surrounded by technology, they would be more likely to watch a video for homework than complete an activity, but I was wrong. I must also keep in mind those students who do not have access to technology at home. Once I receive my class set of laptops, I can allow those students to log on quickly and watch it on their own at the beginning of class.
